Stocking fillers for her (under £20)

Ahh the humble Christmas stocking. Traditionally filled with gold coins, satsumas and even the odd lump of coal, today the contents of stockings tend to be much more luxurious. I am personally a huge fan of Christmas stockings. I adore giving Christmas presents, and so love the fact that the Christmas stocking affords the opportunity to buy smaller gifts in a larger quantity if you choose.

There are so many amazing options for stocking fillers this year, ranging from the real bottom end of the price bracket all the way up to the top, and this post is designed to give you some ideas for items and brands offering some beautiful items. Of course there are so many more options out there, some of which are also really great ideas, but these were my favourites (where I could find photos, anyway..!).

Although not mentioned, chocolate is also a winner in a stocking. You absolutely can not go wrong with a Cadbury's selection box, some gold coins, fancy truffles or a Terry's Chocolate Orange. One of the best parts about Christmas is the fact you can literally eat whatever you want whenever you want it, so filling a stocking full of chocolate is never going to be a bad thing.

It's not something I've ever remembered to do before, but if you're feeling a bit risqué, I love the idea of putting a lottery ticket or scratch card in a stocking; realistically the chances of winning are incredibly slim, but it's exciting (for a minute or two) just the same. I could spend hours listening to what people would do if they won millions of pounds, and this is almost certainly guaranteed to spark a similar conversation.

What will you be hoping to find in your stocking this year? Do you have any super fun traditions you'd like to share?
