BUSY BUSY BUSY (some things never change..)!
After the end of last week, it kind of had to be a big week to live up to it. It started with a trip to Lavenham, a slight detour on the way home to Norwich. Aside from visiting as a child and having zero recollection of the day, I'd never been to Lavenham before. Turns out it is so beautiful and so full of historic buildings; we really didn't have enough time to look around the town before we ate dinner, so it's definitely on my list to go back.
Later in the week, I met Laura and Shelley and after some impromptu photographs (okay, they might have been planned..) we headed to No8 Thorpe Rooms to attend the launch of the Louise Thomas Skincare brand. This is a completely new brand, as yet untested, so it was super interesting to hear about some of the new ingredient technology involved. Louise, who is also the founder of U and Your Skin, in Norwich, is so knowledgeable and so passionate, I just know it is going to be a success. I've joined the testing panel, and look forward to getting my hands on some first samples in the very near future!
In other news, we tested out Byron Burgers on Chapelfield Plain, and got new fences! (Keep your eyes peeled for the time lapses at the end of the video...)
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to a quieter week next week!
