Banging start to the week, for a change..

Sunday was Mother's Day so I drove down to Chelmsford to spend the day with my mumma. I had my first experience of going to an Everyman cinema, where the sofas are more comfortable than my sofa at home! Beauty and the Beast was so so good, way better than I imagined it to be. I was pretty convinced it would be like watching Hermione Granger playing dress up, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Emma Watson was brilliant, and I can't wait to go and see it again.

Monday night I went back to my old uni, to go to a Blossoms gig. I was already of the opinion that Blossoms were a brilliant band, but after seeing them live, I appreciate them even more. If you get the chance to go see them, you know the drill...

I feel like we had some more beautiful weather again this week, and I took full advantage after work on Thursday in the pub garden of the Plough on St Benedict's Street. I met my friend Darren for a couple of drinks - we go back quite a long way, and as we don't see each other as much as probably should, it was real good to catch up.

Harv didn't feel that great on Saturday, so after I managed to drag him to the pub for a little pub dinner, we just curled up on the sofa together and watched some TV. Nothing to write home about, but it's the small things in life, right?
