19.2.17

5-11 February 2017

This (for personal reasons) was probably one of the strangest weeks of my life, with some amazing highs but also some lows, so low that I questioned many things I've always been so very sure of. If there's anything good that's come out of this week, it's the lessons I've learned.

However, the week ended on a high, with my good friend Shelley's birthday and dinner with Harvey's brother and his girlfriend at Warwick St Social, which just happens to be one of my favourite restaurants around. Looking at the photos of the food, you could be forgiven for thinking it's the kind of snooty establishment you'd sooner avoid, but you would be sorely mistaken. Everything just works so well together - the interior design, the food, and most of all the staff. I've said it before but I'll say it again, you have to check this place out.

I'm looking forward to what will hopefully be a better week next week. This week's vlog speaks for itself, so if you haven't watched it yet, please do give it a go.*

* I like to use actual songs in my videos instead of copyright free music, and unfortunately this means that you might not be able to watch this video if you're using a mobile phone or tablet. I've spent so many evenings trying to find other music and re-edit and upload in the past, but life is too short. What I'm trying to say is sorry basically, in advance.
