BLACK BEAN AND GARLIC SALMON

A couple of days ago, Harvey and I made this gorgeous Black Bean and Garlic Salmon stir fry for dinner. It doesn't look like much, but it really was very tasty, and simple, as you just add 1 tsp of sugar to 1 tsp of this sauce from Lee Kum Kee, add some water and the sauce is done.

I'm not such a huge fan of noodles in asian cooking, or cooking generally actually, so we went for a whole packet of beansprouts instead, alongside some mixed peppers and some broccoli which we added right at the last minute. We pan fried the salmon in a pan with some sesame oil - is it just me who can't get enough of the smell of that stuff when it's cooking?!

And this was the finished result! We just added some soy sauce, and lime juice once the food was plated up and then tucked right in. I can highly recommend this sauce, and you can pick it up for less than £2 from Tesco - we only used 1 tsp for this whole plate, so one jar will definitely go a long way!!
