TONE

For those who don't know me, I am a huge music fan. Cliche, but for as long as I can remember, I've been a singer, singing until I'd annoyed everyone in my family with my repetitive and probably often awful singing.

As a child, I was into amateur dramatics, and so my music tastes centred around musicals, a guilty pleasure I still indulge in to this day, much to Harvey's dislike. However, as I've grown up, I've developed a much wider music taste, and can be found listening to anything from tracks from the top 40, to music by some delightfully obscure band I've come across by accident. I am also in a band, however we've only recently started recording tracks in our garage at home (hi-tech I know!), due to a number of reasons. We're hoping to set up a soundcloud fairly soon, and invite perfect strangers to listen to my singing, which is a totally terrifying thought actually. Terrifying but exciting.

So as music is such a huge part of my life, I've decided to have a go at collating a monthly playlist of tracks which have really been hitting the spot. I'm a 9-5er, and I've now got 4 WHOLE DAYS off of work...heaven! 4 whole days in which I intend to be listening to a lot of music as Harvey is working almost all of those days, and I'll be spending 8 hours travelling to and from Birmingham to visit my sister. Anyway, this is the playlist I will likely be listening to - give me a shout if you have a listen, and if you have any recommendations you think I might like!
